Hi,

Thank you for your proactive and excellent support as always.

While creating an ad in Google Ads there is a Summary / Review screen at the end to check the changes, recommendations and errors pertaining to the ad we are creating. I want to know if google provides any business flow or API docs regarding the same.

PFA the screenshot for reference.

Thanks and Regards,
Kartikeya Chauhan

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the Google Ads API support team.

With regard to the recommendations, you can use the RecommendationService of Google Ads API. Recommendations can improve your campaigns in a few ways:

  • Introduce new and relevant features
  • Get more out of your budget with improved bids, keywords, and ads
  • Increase the overall performance and efficiency of your campaigns

You can refer to the Optimization score and recommendations document for more information.

With regard to errors, while creating an ad or a campaign using Google Ads API, if required fields are not provided or the request body is not correct, then various errors can occur in response. You can refer to the Common errors document for knowing the common errors. In order to check if you are providing required details, you can check the respective method under the Rest Interface section.

I hope this clarifies your concern. Feel free to reach out for any further concerns/ queries related to Google Ads API.

Thanks,
